day it became. Weather app said great autumn day, reality said stay in or go to bed. But I had a plan to take my Zone VI for a spin and thats what I did. Well at the location I got out of the truck and heard a pssss. Flat tyre, what a start. I fix that later, of and shoot. Found my spot, arranged the frame and the hole sky opens up. Packed up and went back to the truck and pulled out a spare tyre, changed and when that was done the rain had stopped so I went back shooting. Another spot and I pulled everything up, framed, metered and then the rain came back. I finally got two shoots in a haste, time will tell but my gut feeling is that my iPhone reference shot got far better then my 4×5.
Good thing in all this is that I met two geocacher looking for their place where the treasure should be. Funny how a flat tyre and an old wooden camera make people start talking with each other.
